When you shop at Me & My Trend, we want you to be satisfied and confident with your purchase. Therefore, if your purchase isn't quite right, we're happy to provide you with one of the following;
- An exchange for another Me & My Trend item(s) of the same or lesser value,
- Store credit for your Me & My Trend account, or
- A full refund of the original purchase price of the item.
This is provided that:
- Item(s) are returned within 21 days from the original date of purchase
- An original Me & My Trend invoice accompanies the returned item(s)
- Item(s) are in an original and re-saleable condition including:
- Original packaging is intact, with accompanying accessories, guarantees, instructions, labels, swing tags, care guides, manuals and product information inserts provided
- Item(s) are unopened, unused, unworn and unassembled
- Sew-in labels are attached, if applicable
- A Me & My Trend Returns Authorisation Form is completed and accompanies the item(s) to be returned
Item(s) must be returned and inspected before any exchange, store credit or refund is granted. If any of the above conditions are not met, Me & My Trend reserve the right not to offer an exchange, store credit or refund. Please see below for items not eligible for exchange, store credit or refund.
Returned item(s) can be exchanged for other item(s) from our Me & My Trend online store of the same value or lesser value. For item(s) exchanged of a lesser value, store credit will be issued for the difference in price.
Refunds will be made in the same tender of the original purchase. If your original purchase included sales tax, this will also be refunded back to you.

Change of Mind Return
We all change our mind sometimes. We will try our best to accommodate requests to exchange items when you have changed your mind, provided that the above conditions for Returns are met. However, please note that we are not obliged to provide you with an exchange, store credit or refund if you simply change your mind on a purchase, so please choose carefully. We are not obliged to credit you on the shipping cost if you have had a change of heart. Me & My Trend reserves the right to refuse a request for exchange, store credit or refund at Me & My Trend’s discretion. If the item(s) is faulty, we will fulfil our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (NZ). Please refer to our Return Procedure below.
Returning a Gift Item
If you receive an item from Me & My Trend as a gift and it’s not quite right, you can return it. We'll issue you store credit for your Me & My Trend online account for the purchase price of the returned item(s), so you can choose something more to your liking, provided that the item meets the above conditions for Returns. Please refer to our Return Procedure below.
Faulty or Damaged Items
We do our best to make sure you receive your order in pristine condition, but if you find any items are faulty, do not match the description, or damaged during shipment, our customer care team are here to help. If your order is faulty/damaged. Please email us with an image and description of the damage. This way, our customer servie team will inform you whether you are to return the item at our cost or to dispose. You can email the Me & My Trend team or call them on +64 9 476 8650, Monday to Friday between 9am to 4pm. Please refer to our Return Procedure below.
Me & My Trend will incur the shippings costs of faulty or damaged return items.
For all other returns, shippings costs are at the expense of the customer. We recommend using a courier service with track and trace. Please email the Me & My Trend team with any enquiries regarding the return of an item.
Before making a return, you must contact the Me & My Trend team for specific return instructions.
Local taxes, tariffs or other customs fees over the Duty, GST and VAT allowances are the responsibility of the customer.
Any international returns approved by Me & My Trend will be credited as store credit or refunded in the original tender, less the initial cost of shipping, provided that the above Return conditions are met.
Items Not Eligible for Refund or Store Credit
We are unable to provide an exchange, store credit or refund for item(s) where in our reasonable opinion the item(s) has, following the sale to you, become of unacceptable quality due to:
- Fair wear-and-tear
- Misuse or failure to use in accordance with manufacturer's instructions
- Use of the item in an abnormal way
- Failure to take reasonable care of the item.
Me & My Trend reserve the right not to provide an exchange, store credit, or refund for the following items:
- Items which do not meet the above conditions for Return
- Items which have been engraved, modified, damaged, altered or sized
- Free gifts or promotional items
- Earrings, unless faulty
- Items that were not purchased directly from Me & My Trend, such as items purchased from other online retailers or Me & My Trend stockists
- Items purchased from the Me & My Trend outlet, sale or clearance section of the Me & My Trend website which are deemed Final Sale
Shipping charges will be incurred by Me & My Trend only in cases where we have shipped to the wrong address, or shipped the incorrect item(s).
Return and Exchange Procedure for Homewares (under 30kg)
1. Ensure that the item(s) meet the Return conditions, stated above.
2. Contact the Me & My Trend team care team and request a Return Authorisation Form, and provide extra details where necessary (eg. faulty or damaged return items, international returns). Please follow instructions from the Me & My Trend care team, where provided.
3. Provide the original invoice of your purchase.
4. Arrange shipping of the item(s) to Me & My Trend within 21 days of purchase date.
The Me & My Trend care team will update you with the status of your return. Please allow 1-2 weeks for exchange items to be shipped to you.
Return Procedures for Furniture and Homewares (over 30kg)
1. Contact the Me & My Trend team. Please do not attempt to return any furniture without first speaking to our customer care team. They will provide you with the steps required around the shipping process.
2. Request and return a completed Return Authorisation Form.
3. Provide the original invoice for your purchase.
The Me & My Trend care team will update you with the status of your return. Any refunds will be minus the inbound and outbound shipping costs.
For quick and easy returns for our local customers, items can be returned within 21 days of the original date of purchase to the Me & My Trend showroom and warehouse, provided that the above conditions for Returns are met.
